Information about upgrading to version 3.X.


When do I get free updates?
If you have purchased a license ID it is including one year of free software updates. These updates can be downloaded via this website. The purchase of software updates for the second year is optional (for Griffid Monitoring Center there are other conditions).

The year of free updates is not valid for any additions to your existing license ID that you purchased at a later date and is not valid for issueing dates of replacement license IDs. The release date of the original license ID is at all times handled as the starting date of the year of free software updates.

I have a license ID for software version 1.X up to version 2.12 and I want to use the new 3.X version:
The licence ID you have for Griffid software version 1.X up to version 2.12 will not function in version 3.X. For Griffid software version 3.X you need a new (replacement) license ID.

In case your license ID is still valid for free updates you can exchange your license ID for a new one at no charge. Griffid will ask for your license ID and may ask you to show a proof of purchase.

If you are not entitled to software updates you can purchase an update contract.
Contact Griffid and provide us with your license ID for information about the possibilities.
Griffid may also ask you to show a proof of purchase.

I have a license ID for software version 2.14 or better and I want to use the new 3.X version:
The licence ID you have is fully compatible with version 3.X. If you are still entitled to free updates you can download and install version 3.X. If you are not entitled to updates any more you can purchase an update contract.

Optional update costs
This costs depend on the original purchase date of your existing license ID.
Please inform with your Griffid reseller or ask Griffid for more information (original license ID is always required, a proof of purchase may also need to be showed).
