Griffid Wireless Center
The Griffid Wireless Center is an extension of the Griffid Monitoring Center developed to approach the multi-protocol video application that is working in the alarm center with mobile devices, such as a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA). The key benefit of the Griffid Wireless Center software is that people working in a mobile surveillance team can have access to the same live and recorded images as the operator in the alarm center.
| A member of this surveillance team has a tool to be prepared when entering a site where an alarm was detected. The mobile client has the same user friendly interface resulting in fast adoption of functionality by the user. It furthermore offers the ability to communicate and manage mobile surveillance services in a more productive way and adapt the need for video verification. |

It can facilitate bandwidth efficient transportation of live streaming video to mobile devices. The major benefit is that the live video communication can be realize using all sorts of connections such as GPRS, UMTS, WiMAX, Wireless LAN (WLAN) or technologies like High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA of UMTS2).
Main benefit is that the best fitting wireless technology can be selected to serve the need for the application.
Moreover further developing wireless networks and mobile devices will offer the ability to roam for the best available connection and bandwidth.
